    Today, Saturday, a number of independent deputies submitted a request to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to host the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudanese, to find out the government's measures regarding the dollar crisis.
    Representative Bassem Al-Gharabi said in a press conference he held with a number of independent deputies, which was followed by (Baghdad Today), that “according to Article (61/Second) of the Constitution, Articles (27/Third, Eighth and Tenth) and Article (30) of the House of Representatives Law and its formations No. (13) for the year (2018) and Article (55) of the internal system of the House of Representatives, and as a result of the decline in the value of the Iraqi dinar against the US dollar during the last period and is still continuing Until now in an unprecedented manner, and because of this crisis and its clear negative impact on the economic and social situation of citizens as a result of these force majeure and cost of living.”
    He added, “We, as representatives of the Iraqi people and the signatories of more than 80 signatures, submitted a request to the presidency of the Wawab Council to hold a session in an urgent manner to host the Prime Minister to clarify the policy of the Council of Ministers and its steps to resolve the crisis.
    Earlier, a statement by the media department, which was received by (Baghdad Today), stated that “Al-Halbousi inaugurated the work of the third session of the fifth electoral session, the second legislative year, the first legislative term, in the presence of 199 deputies."
    In the context, Representative Ahmed Al-Sharmani announced, today, Saturday, that he had filed a judicial complaint against the governors of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, and Mustafa Ghaleb Makhaif .
    Al-Sharmani said, in a post on Facebook, attached to the complaint document that (Baghdad Today) received, that it is "a complaint we submitted to the Public Prosecution against the governors of the Central Bank for passing forged import documents that cost the Iraqi economy millions of dollars. 
    According to the document, Al-Sharmani held Al-Alaq and Mukhaif responsible for the anger, resentment and panic that afflicted the Iraqi people due to the unprecedented rise in the exchange rates of the dollar and the resulting increase in the prices of foodstuffs and basic commodities, indicating that all this is due to the policies of the Central Bank and the apparent failure to perform the assigned tasks. to this important institution.

    The Attorney General called on the Public Prosecution to take appropriate legal measures against the governors of the Central Bank in accordance with the provisions of Article 340 for causing damage to the funds and interests of the entity they work for, as they were directed to spend large sums of hard currency over the years in exchange for forged import documents, which caused the loss and depletion of millions of dollars over the years. years.
