    The expert in the dollar buying and selling market, Salem Al-Shammari, confirmed today, Thursday, the return of the artificial stalemate for buying and selling the dollar in the Diyala Stock Exchange, where an incomprehensible chaos prevails, represented by prices that are far from the official price significantly, in addition to the existence of a large difference between buying and selling, which is what It has not been recorded in the previous days.
    Al-Shammari said in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that "most of the exchange offices in Baquba have been reluctant to sell dollars since morning until now, under the pretext of lack of liquidity, but they sell to their customers at prices that reach 150,000 per 100 dollars, and buy from citizens at prices ranging from 135-140." That is, the difference is 10 thousand dinars, and sometimes it reaches 15 thousand dinars.
    He added, "There is an artificial stagnation adopted by the exchange offices in an attempt to reduce the losses of many of them, especially as they secured dollar liquidity after it rose above the 160 barrier two weeks ago in an attempt to speculate and earn more, but they were surprised by the Sudanese government's decision, which approved an exchange rate at 130."
     He pointed out that "until this moment, not a single dollar was sold at the 130 checkpoint, that is, the implementation of the Sudanese government's decision, and the pretext is that they do not have the dollar, but in return they provide it to some customers directly."
    He pointed to "the need to open a central office in Baquba to sell the dollar to citizens to prevent them from falling into the trap of artificial stagnation and provide it."
