{Local: Al Furat News} The Federal Integrity Commission announced today, Sunday, the seizure of unused, imported machinery for an oil company, manipulation and forgery in a number of departments in Maysan Governorate.
The Commission's investigations department stated, in a statement received by {Euphrates News}, that "the work team of the Commission's investigation office in Maysan seized a memorandum to send vehicles belonging to the Oil Exploration Company in the province to the site of Maysan operations, for the purpose of storing them, after it was proven that they had failed and were not suitable for the airspace of Iraq, indicating that The company started importing cars that operate in "multi-terrain environments", and later it became clear that there are many electrical and mechanical breakdowns, and the lack of necessary spare parts for them, which led to leaving them unused and then storing them in the warehouses of the operations site in the governorate.
The department added, “The team, which moved to the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in the governorate, seized two files that had been tampered with, and received two loans in the amount of (320,000,000) million dinars from the bank after seizing the property belonging to one of the citizens, noting that the two processes of disbursing the two loans took place without the consent or knowledge of the borrowers.” ".
In the municipality of Musharh, the statement referred to "seizing the files related to the sold plots in accordance with the provisions of Article (25) of the Law on the Sale and Lease of State Funds, because the municipality sold them in violation of the controls and instructions, and caused a waste of public money, after the process of selling distinct plots of land at low prices."
As for the real estate registration note in the western district of Ali, the office's work team monitored, according to the statement, "a manipulation in the disclosure of a real estate and its conversion from a built property to a land plot, for the purpose of transferring its liabilities and reducing the amount of real estate registration fees."
