A responsible source in Anbar Governorate revealed today, Saturday, that 25 thousand transactions for those affected by terrorist operations were stopped due to the presence of forgery and manipulation in the mechanism of organizing them.
The source told Al-Maalouma Agency that "the audit committees in the Martyrs Foundation, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, stopped about 25 thousand transactions for those affected by terrorist operations after seizing thousands of forged transactions by a forgery network run by influential figures in Anbar."
He added that "the suspension of transactions came after the arrest of a forgery network whose members were found to be in possession of forged seals and documents to promote the transactions of those affected by terrorist operations, indicating that "the concerned authorities have ordered the suspension of salaries of anyone proven to have tampered with the transactions of those affected and to refer them to the judiciary."
He pointed out that a process of filtering transactions was carried out amid information indicating that there were transactions for the families of ISIS terrorists among these transactions. End/12A
