Shafaq News/ An official in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan revealed, on Saturday, that the party cut the salaries of more than 1,000 of its members for audit and administrative reasons.
A member of the National Union in Khanaqin, Ibrahim Aziz, told Shafaq News agency, "The union has cut the salaries of more than 1,000 members of its affiliates who were recently promoted after the General Union conference several months ago, including 17 members in the Khanaqin center."
And he indicated that "cutting salaries is an administrative and auditing procedure by the federation, which will be resolved soon."
Members of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan range from a cell officer of 30-50 members to a cell officer of about 150 members, and the positions are successively arranged.
