Expectations to host ministers and governors to discuss spending "emergency support" funds

The Parliamentary Services and Reconstruction Committee stated that it has drawn up plans for hosting ministers and governors to see the development of services.
Committee member Sarwa Muhammad explained that the committee "has been working on a systematic scheduling of work with clear priorities since last week through a series of hospitality, the first of which was for the governor of Babylon with the general managers, followed by hosting the minister of services and municipalities and the governor of Najaf."
And Muhammad added, in an interview with "Al-Sabah", that "this package of hosts comes to view the official plans of the governorates, ministries and service departments in order to follow up the work of the governorates in the districts and districts and in order to learn about the disbursement of funds for strategic projects within the emergency food security law," indicating that "The meetings are to see the spending of financial allocations for the law to enhance the legislative oversight work, in addition to checking the quality of the plans drawn up by the governors."
She pointed out that "the committee followed up with the governors on projects referred to contractors in all governorates with the aim of identifying how the governorates' plans and services are proceeding," pointing out that the committee "asked all governors to list lagging and stalled projects in order to see the obstacles they suffer from."
And she added that the committee "wants to discuss the details, if there are problems with the financial allocation, for the purpose of addressing them in coordination with the Ministry of Finance."
