Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani affirmed today, Sunday, that Iraq has regained its natural position as an incubator for dialogues, while indicating that the government has drawn up an ambitious program for the advancement of the country.
Al-Sudani said in a speech on the sidelines of the Baghdad Dialogue Conference and its follow-up (Baghdad Today), that "Iraq has regained its natural position as an incubator for dialogues," adding, "We are determined to restore Iraq to its natural position."
The Prime Minister added, "We will not tolerate any imbalance that may cause the people's money to be exploited," noting that "the corruption pandemic is a major battle, and that the biggest challenge is restoring the citizen's confidence."
Today, Sunday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani inaugurated the activities of the "Baghdad International Dialogue" conference, in its fifth edition, which is organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue under the title (Iraq: Twenty Years... What Next?), and the conference will last for two days with the participation of dozens of political, security and economic figures from Inside and outside Iraq.
After the Prime Minister's speech, there is a dialogue session entitled "Withstanding the Storm: Iraq and Climate Change", followed by a session entitled "After Oil... Iraq's Energy Needs", and an evening session entitled "Factors for Improving the Investment Environment in Iraq".
