[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani inaugurated today, Friday, the first phase of the central processing station in the Al-Faiha oil field in Basra Governorate, with a capacity of 100,000 barrels per day.
The Minister of Oil said in a speech at the launch ceremony of the phase: "The Ministry has succeeded in transforming the Al-Faihaa exploration patch into a producing oil field, targeting three oil reservoirs (Al-Yamamah, Mishref, Al-Zubair), to produce (100) thousand barrels per day," indicating: "The Ministry has developed a plan to invest the associated gas from the field by building a plant to process and invest the associated gas with a capacity of (125) million standard cubic feet per day, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year 2024."
Abdul Ghani stressed the Ministry's keenness to implement the components of the government program to develop the oil and gas industry, and work to increase financial revenues to support the national economy. The opening ceremony
