Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, MP Mudar Maan, identified, on Saturday, the most important paragraph that delays the settlement of the salary scale in state institutions.

Maan told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The salary scale law will serve the lower grades in state institutions (from the fifth to the tenth) in ministries whose salaries are low, stressing that the Prime Ministry formed a committee after 2022 consisting of 4 government agencies (Finance and Planning, the Federal Service Council, and the Financial Supervision Bureau) to draft the law."
He added, "The number of Iraqi employees has increased to 4 million and 100 thousand during the current year, indicating that "calculating the liquidity and funding necessary to implement the paths of the new peace law is the paragraph that is delaying its resolution at the present time."
He pointed out that "setting the financial cover and finding legal frameworks for some allocations is necessary in order for the implementation to be flexible and possible."
It is noteworthy that Iraq has witnessed a series of large peaceful demonstrations in the past months in order to approve the salary scale that will address the salaries of hundreds of thousands of employees. End 25 F
