On Friday, the Intelligence Agency announced the arrest of 30 accused of monopolizing foodstuffs and manipulating prices.
The agency stated in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior carried out a security operation in Baghdad, which resulted in the seizure of tens of tons of agricultural crops, estimated at 95 tons, and various expired foodstuffs." Validity and (3) tons, and seizing an amount of drugs that are prohibited from import and not subject to quality examination and control, estimated at (8) tons in the governorates of Diyala and Salah al-Din.
And she added, "The total of those arrested during these operations amounted to (30) suspects in different governorates," stressing that "legal measures have been taken against them." Ended 29 / H
