    Information / Baghdad.. 
    The Deputy Governor of Karbala, Ali Al-Mayali, stressed that the need has become urgent to find an independent body to manage the millions of visits in the holy city of Karbala, pointing out that Karbala needs to allocate billions to sustain the millions of visits.

    Al-Mayali said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, that "the governorate needs a body dedicated to millions of visits, in light of the governorate's population exceeding the barrier of three million people." 
    He added, "We renew the call for the establishment of a body or a ministry to manage the affairs of the millions of visits that the country is witnessing, especially in the holy city of Karbala." 
    Stressing "the importance of early preparation for the upcoming season of million visits," pointing out that "the governorate needs billions to manage the millions of services." 
    The representative of Karbala Governorate, Firas Al-Maslamawi, revealed in a previous interview with Al-Maalouma agency, the parliament’s intention to host the governor, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, to discuss plans to expand services and increase the capacity to receive visitors.
