Minister of Health: We are proceeding with a project to manage modern hospitals by specialized companies

The Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, yesterday, Saturday, renewed his emphasis on proceeding with the modern hospital management project by specialized companies for management, operation, maintenance and training.
The Ministry's statement stated, "The Minister of Health made a visit to the Dhi Qar Governorate Office building, during which he met with Governor Mortada Al-Ibrahimi and discussed with him the health situation in the governorate."
The statement added, “Al-Hasnawi held a meeting in the governorate building with the governor and head of the governorate council, Abdul Baqi al-Omari, members of the governorate council, Dhi Qar police chief, Major General Makki al-Khikani, the ministerial delegation, and the director general of Dhi Qar health, Rashid Najm al-Khikani.”
The statement continued, “The Minister listened to the opinions of the local government regarding the health reality of Dhi Qar Governorate and ways of cooperation between the central and local governments to develop the health reality,” stressing that “among the government’s priorities is the joint work of ministries with local governments to develop the service reality in the governorates, especially the health sector.” .
He pointed out that “Dhi Qar Governorate is one of the governorates that is among the Ministry of Health’s priorities for developing its health situation,” indicating that “work is underway to complete the Women’s and Children’s Hospital project in Shatrah and other hospitals in the districts.”
He explained that “the Ministry of Health is proceeding with a project to manage modern hospitals by specialized companies for management, operation, maintenance and training to ensure the provision of the best health service to citizens.”
For his part, “the governor and members of the governorate council praised the minister’s periodic follow-up of health services in all governorates and the work to develop the health sector.”
