    Baghdad today - Baghdad
A government source revealed that four governors will soon be replaced after the end of the report on evaluating the work of governors and government ministers.
The source told (Baghdad Today) that: "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani will send a letter to parliament to dismiss four governors after the Eid al-Fitr holiday . "
He added, "The book will request the dismissal of the governor of Nineveh, the governor of Anbar, the governor of Dhi Qar and the governor of Babylon."
Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, in a move that was the first since the formation of Iraqi governments after 2003, announced that he was about to make an amendment affecting ministers in his government and a number of governors.
He added, in a recent televised interview, that the government is on the verge of making changes in the cabinet line-up, and at the level of governors and general managers.
Al-Sudani, who formed his government in October 2022, pledged, days after its formation, that he would evaluate the performance of those with special grades in the state (general directors and undersecretaries of ministries) within 4 months, and subject ministers to evaluation within 6 months, as well as governors.
