    Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee discussed with the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, the amount of spending needed in the budget to deal with the electricity file.

    The media office of the Minister of Electricity stated in a statement, "The Parliamentary Finance Committee hosted the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, to review a number of future plans."

    He added, "During the meeting, the operational budget and the investment budget were discussed, in addition to reviewing the ministry's plans and strategic projects."

    The statement indicated that "the nature of infrastructure projects, which would be a cause for pressure on operating expenses, was reviewed and explained, in addition to reviewing the volume of spending and the expenditure doors necessary to proceed with the treatment of the electricity file."
