    Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani affirmed that Iraq is continuing regional economic communication.
    The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by Al-Masalla, that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, received the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayyad, and the Deputy Director of the Lebanese State Security, Hassan Shuqair, pointing out that during the meeting, various aspects of cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon were reviewed. In it is the interest of the two brotherly peoples, and ways to develop bilateral relations, at all levels.
    During the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed, according to the statement, that Iraq is continuing regional economic communication in the field of energy and plans to confront climate change and its environmental and economic effects, in a way that supports stability and economic growth for the Iraqi people and for all brotherly and friendly peoples.
    For his part, the Lebanese minister conveyed his government's assurances and its keenness to strengthen cooperation with Iraq in the fields of development and the continuation of partnership and exchange to promote common interests and confront global economic challenges.
