Shafaq News/ The Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Muhammad al-Sudani, decided, on Wednesday, to make changes in some security sites, with the aim of "pumping new blood".
His military spokesman, Major General Yahya Rasool, said, in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "In accordance with the government program and its priorities related to administrative reform of security institutions, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, issued orders for changes in some security sites, with the aim of pumping new blood and giving The opportunity for other leaders to manage the security file, in order to raise the efficiency of the performance of security institutions.
Al-Sudani appreciated, according to the statement, the efforts made by the leaders who were included in the change during their tenure in office, and provided what they could provide in positions of responsibility.
Rasool indicated that this step comes after an extensive study to enhance security and stability in the various regions of the country, and for the requirements of the public interest, which require working according to a professional vision with new, efficient security leaders, who graduated in service within the security institutions, and their work will also be subject to continuous evaluation.
The statement did not reveal the names of the security leaders whose positions were changed.
