Today, Tuesday (July 25, 2023), the Ambassador of the United States of America, Elena Romanowski, proposed to Iraq a "technology" that prevents electricity theft.
"The world's leading Itron company is ready to modernize the electricity grid in Iraq by organizing energy distribution to Iraqi consumers," the ambassador said in a tweet, followed by "Baghdad Today."
She added, "American technology such as Itron can help eliminate electricity theft, reduce blackouts, and provide reliable energy for Iraq."
