A document issued by the Ministry of Electricity, addressed to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, on the work of the committee formed to implement the main joint work plan for cooperation between [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and the GCC countries.
According to the document, the ministry proposed the possibility of extending two lines of super pressure as the first phase of the Gulf link network at the level of 400KV and carrying a maximum of 500m, to feed isolated areas in the province of Basra as a first stage, and to benefit from the purchase of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] prices of the Gulf competition.
The ministry also called for exploiting the two proposed lines to implement the linking of the continuous system of effort with the system of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] states to Turkey, including to Europe via Iraq, and the capacity of the system (G.12) is aimed at exchanging [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] between the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] states[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Arab and Iraq on the one hand, and Turkey and Europe on the other, according to different periods of peak load and minimum load between these countries.
