According to data from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), total world exports of crude oil and oil derivatives rose during the past year to 73.48 million barrels per day, compared to 70.004 million barrels per day in 2021.
OPEC countries’ oil exports grew over the past year to 25.84 million barrels per day, compared to 23.69 million barrels per day in 2021, an increase of 9%.
The total exports of OECD countries also increased during the past year to 25.93 million barrels per day, compared to 24.78 million barrels per day in 2021, an increase of 4.6% on an annual basis.
