    Political affairs expert Kazem Al-Hajj said today, Monday (September 11, 2023), that the Iraqi government rejects any external interference to resolve disputes with the Kurdistan Regional Government.
    Al-Hajj stated in an interview with “Baghdad Today” that “the Kurdistan region’s resort to an external party regarding resolving its financial disputes with the Iraqi government is very unlikely, especially since the international position is with strengthening Baghdad and not weakening it, and the Iraqi government rejects any external interference to resolve the disputes with the Iraqi government.” Regional Government.
    He added, "The Iraqi government deals with the Kurdistan Regional Government in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution, and it cannot bypass this matter due to any internal or external pressures. Therefore, the Kurdistan Region will be obligated to pay the oil and non-oil revenues it owes to Baghdad to resolve disputes. Otherwise, it will "The dispute continues without any solutions."
    Tension hangs over the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil, not starting with the Kirkuk crisis and not ending with the delay in sending the region’s budget dues, while tense messages exchanged between Baghdad and Erbil began, in what appears to be an early abortion of the political agreement between the Sudanese government and Kurdistan, before its implementation even begins.
    Erbil began to accuse Baghdad of "renouncing" the political agreement. In return, Baghdad confirmed, through advisors and government spokesmen, that it was Erbil that did not commit to implementing its obligations, speaking about the necessity of adhering to the constitution.
    Representative Shirwan Al-Dobardani, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party parliamentary bloc, had warned that the failure of some parties within the coordination framework and the state administration coalition to the political agreement that brought the Sudanese government would lead us to a dead end.
