A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee expected the National Security Apparatus draft law to be approved in the coming weeks. Representative Hussein Al-Amiri said in a press statement: “All articles of the National Security Apparatus draft law have been completed and discussed with specialists in the Legislation Department, in addition to discussing it in the committees.” Financial and legal. He pointed out "listening to all opinions and proposals regarding the agency law, making important observations, and also listening to the remarks of the personal secretary of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces."
Al-Amiri stated, “During next October, we believe that the law will be completed and notes will be made regarding it,” and he expects that “the National Security Law will be ready to be voted on during the coming weeks.”
