After cutting off oil, salaries, and dreams of secession, the federal government is preparing to direct a judge against Barzani
- Today 13:58
Information/Baghdad...
Masoud Barzani is a permanent client of the Federal Supreme Court due to his continued violation of the constitution, corruption, and practice of political blackmail. Ironically, all his plans are destroyed under the hammer of federal justice, which ruled to end the secessionist referendum from Iraq in 2017, support the imposition of the law, and prevent international commercial dealings with the region, the last of which was to end the export of Oil via Ceyhan.

The legal expert in charge of the lawsuit against the governments of Baghdad and Erbil regarding sending money, Muhammad Al-Saadi, confirms the anticipation of the issuance of the state order by the Federal Supreme Court to stop sending money from Baghdad to Erbil.
Al-Saadi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma: “This morning witnessed the filing of a lawsuit against the governments of Baghdad and Erbil regarding the unconstitutionality of sending budget funds to Kurdistan.”
He added, "The Federal Court has taken up the case, and the state decision will be issued within 24 hours from the date of filing the case, according to the law."
He pointed out that “the filing of the lawsuit came to block the way for Baghdad to send money to Erbil, provided that the lawsuit is considered in a fundamental manner after Baghdad’s response and defense before the Federal Supreme Court,” noting that “all government steps regarding sending money are in clear violation of the constitution, which confirms the inevitability of making a decision in favor of Baghdad.” ".
Yesterday, the Council of Ministers voted to lend the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government an amount of two trillion and one hundred billion dinars for the current fiscal year, to be paid in three equal installments of (700) billion dinars for each installment, starting in September.
The law will cut off Barzani's path
In addition, independent MP Bassem Khashan confirms the intention of the members of the House of Representatives, led by the independents, to challenge the Council of Ministers’ decision to send an amount of two trillion and one hundred billion dinars for the current fiscal year to the Kurdistan region.
Khashan said in a statement to the Maalouma Agency, “The Council of Ministers’ vote during yesterday’s session to grant a financial loan to the region amounting to two trillion and one hundred billion dinars is incorrect and has no legal basis.”
He added, "The Cabinet's decision violates the federal general budget law approved by Parliament."
According to experts in the field of law, the case is guaranteed in favor of Baghdad’s refusal to deliver salaries to the region’s employees, especially since there is great uncertainty about the real number of the region’s employees.
