Sales of the Iraqi Central Bank at the beginning of this week from Sunday, a rise of 238 million dollars, through the participation of 22 banks in an auction today.
Today's meeting saw a rise in sales of the bank for up to 238 000 029 thousand dollars, have been covered by the bank at an exchange rate basis was 1166 dinars to the dollar, compared to the day before yesterday, which amounted to a sales 130 000 332 thousand dollars.
And the distribution of demand by 152 000 739 thousand dollars in the form of remittances and 60% for the remainder, amounting to 85.29 million in cash, was to cover all the demand by the bank in full, and the exchange rate was 1179 dinars per dollar, including the Bank commission amounting to 22 dinars per dollar.
Did not make the 22 banks participating in the auction CBI any offers to sell the dollar.
The Central Bank of Iraq was established as a bank independent under the law issued on the sixth of March 2004, as an independent body, which is responsible for maintaining price stability and the implementation of monetary policy, including exchange rate policies are being daily sessions for the sale and purchase of currencies.
