The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced on Tuesday that the country’s oil exports during the year 2023 amounted to more than one billion and 200 million barrels, noting that China and India were the largest buyers of Iraqi oil.[/size]
[size=45]According to special official statistics, “total oil exports for the year 2023 amounted to one billion and 232 million and 170 thousand and 126 barrels, with a monthly export rate of 102 million and 680 thousand and 843 barrels, with a daily rate of 3 million and 422 thousand barrels, an increase of 5.36% over last year’s exports.”[/size]
[size=45]It indicated that “annual revenues generated from crude oil sales amounted to 87 billion, 612 million, 295 thousand and 178 dollars at a rate of 7 billion, 301 thousand and 24 dollars per month, a decrease of 31.79% compared to last year’s revenues, which amounted to 115 billion and 466 million dollars.”[/size]
[size=45]SOMO indicated that “the average monthly selling price of crude oil for the year 2023 reached $78 and 310 cents per barrel, an increase of 3.09% from the year 2022, which reached $75 and 965 cents per barrel.”[/size]
[size=45]She pointed out that Indian and Chinese oil companies were the largest buyers of Iraqi oil, followed by American companies.[/size]
[size=45]Iraq exports approximately 70% of its crude oil to Asia, especially India and China, through Gulf ports, while the rest is exported through Turkish Ceyhan to Europe and America.[/size]
