    A video clip recorded during a sit-in and gathering organized by some employees of the Basra Oil Company showed them demanding their rights regarding the profits of 2022 and the distribution of plots of land that they did not obtain, just like the rest of the segments and the rest of the employees of oil companies in other governorates.



    The director of the Basra Oil Company appeared in the video clip, “dividing” the employees into categories, where he asked the employees to enter the company to negotiate in exchange for his threat to fire other employees who appear to be the “leaders of the demonstration” and those responsible for mobilizing the employees to demand their rights, as the director of the Basra Oil Company vowed to dismiss them from the workplace.
