Today, Wednesday, the Arab Parliament condemned the Iranian attack on the city of Erbil in northern Iraq.
The Arab Parliament said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, “We condemn in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by Iran by bombing safe residential areas in the city of Erbil in northern Iraq with ballistic missiles, which resulted in a number of innocent victims and a number of injured.”
He stressed, "This Iranian aggression, which did not observe the simplest rules of respecting good neighbourliness, is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq and the security of its dear people, and a blatant assault on Arab national security because the security and stability of Iraq is an integral part of Arab security," stressing that " "The attack on Iraq is an attack on the Arab nation."
The Arab Parliament renewed its “full solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in all the measures it will take to preserve its sovereignty and stability and preserve the security of its citizens,” expressing “sincere condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.”
