Štepanek said, in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: Since the formation of the current Iraqi government until now, we have noticed a noticeable security and economic improvement, as the Czech Republic seeks to develop and improve economic relations between the two countries, noting that his government took a step to strengthen relations with Iraq when the minister visited Foreign Ministry in Baghdad, and on the sidelines of the visit, a symposium was held for businessmen from both sides.
He expressed his hope to host Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in Prague during the next stage, and his agenda will include a meeting with Czech President Peter Bevel, noting that meetings of the Czech-Iraqi committee were held on the 5th and 6th of this month, with the Iraqi delegation headed by the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Dr. Khaled. The Czech ambassador explained that these meetings pave the way for the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to Prague during the first half of this year, based on the invitation extended to him by his Czech counterpart, Peter Fiala, by the Foreign Minister during his visit to Baghdad, to become an important step towards the development of relations between...
