Shafaq News/ The Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region, Reber Ahmed, stated today, Thursday, that “until now it is not clear how the decisions of the Federal Court” issued regarding the election law and financing the salaries of employees and workers in the public sector in the region will be implemented.
The Federal Supreme Court (the highest judicial authority in Iraq) had decided to localize the salaries of Kurdistan Region employees in federal banks, by opening accounts and creating bank cards for them, as is the case with the rest of the Iraqi state employees.
In this regard, the Minister of Interior said in a statement to reporters on the sidelines of his attendance at a car exhibition in Erbil, “All facilities have been provided to the Iraqi Financial Supervision Bureau,” adding that “the region’s Ministry of Finance has done everything necessary to cooperate and coordinate” with the Bureau and the Federal Ministry of Finance.
