The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed today, Wednesday, that if the budget reaches the House of Representatives, it will witness changes being made to it.
Committee member Jamal Ahmed Kujar told Al-Maalouma, “The budget has not reached the House of Representatives, and if it is sent by the government, it will see changes in some of its paragraphs, but they will not be fundamental changes.”
He added, "The salary scale and equality of employee entitlements are still just unofficial talk, and the House of Representatives has not received anything regarding making amendments or creating a new salary scale for the category of employees."
He stated that "the government has secured the salaries of employees and there is no problem with the monetary supply for salaries, or concerns about securing salaries for the coming period." End 25 n.
