    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]The Parliamentary Culture and Media Committee confirmed today, Wednesday, that the law on freedom of expression of opinion and entertaining demonstration is ready for a vote during the upcoming parliamentary sessions.

The deputy head of the committee, Samia Al-Ghallab, told the official agency, “The law on freedom of expression and peaceful demonstration has been completed in all respects, as there were workshops, sessions, and meetings with specialists, experts, and international organizations, and all the government’s opinions and proposals, which were sent recently, were taken into account.”

She added, “Work was done by the parliamentary culture and human rights committees to include all ideas and opinions that would push the law to a vote as quickly as possible.”

She pointed out that "the law is ready for voting and we are waiting for it to be included in the agenda of one of the upcoming sessions."[/rtl]
