    Information/Baghdad...
Firas Al-Yasser, a member of the Political Council of the Al-Nujaba Movement, confirmed on Tuesday that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had conveyed to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani messages related to the Iraqi resistance factions and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Al-Yasser said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The escalation in the pace of strikes on specific American interests made the American administration rush to reduce the severity of these strikes and prevent them from expanding, as it sent its Foreign Minister to the capital, Baghdad, in this regard.”
He added, "The visit of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken brought with it messages to the Iraqi resistance factions and the Islamic Republic, requesting the mediation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to persuade the two parties not to expand the war in Gaza and for negotiations or any settlement to be under the line of fire."
He pointed out, "The response was clear and public through the media that the only condition is an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and allowing humanitarian and medical aid to enter without preconditions."
The Iraqi Islamic Resistance is claiming responsibility for targeting the American bases in Ain al-Assad and Harir in Iraqi Kurdistan, while the American forces have vowed more operations, stressing that they will not stand by and watch the genocide taking place against the Palestinians in Gaza. Ended/25pm
