Baghdad Operations Command announced today, Wednesday, the removal of private generators whose owners violated the official pricing.
A statement by the Operations Command stated: "In the presence of the Chairman of the Baghdad Provincial Council and the Director of Al-Mamoun District, a force from the Sixth Brigade, Second Division, Federal Police, carried out the duty of support and backup for the committees following up on the work of the official pricing of private generators, in cooperation with detachments from the National Security Service and police stations in the neighborhoods of (Al-Furat, Al-Jihad) on the Karkh side."
It added, "The generators whose owners violated the official pricing were removed in the areas of (Al-Hussein, Al-Rafaq, Al-Diwan, Al-Kharijiyah, and Al-Mukhabarat) neighborhoods," stressing that "owners of private generators must adhere to the specified official pricing to avoid legal accountability."
