The Oil Products Distribution Company revealed that it sold more than 3.3 billion liters of gasoline, gas oil, kerosene, fuel oil, and jet fuel during the month of June.
The company's director, Hussein Taleb, said in a press statement that, based on the principle of transparency, we announce our sales during the past month of June.
He added that the quantities sold are as follows: gasoline in its three types, improved, regular and super, amounted to about 977 million liters, and gas oil "kerosene" in its two types, regular and heavy, amounted to 947 million liters.
He added that the quantities of white oil reached 45 million liters, fuel oil "black oil" in its regular, heavy and improved types reached 1.335 billion liters, and aviation fuel in its civil and military types reached 15 million liters.
It is noteworthy that Iraq has begun to approach achieving self-sufficiency in petroleum products, after developing refineries and building new ones, as it used to spend more than 4 billion dollars annually on importing these products.
