    Iraq ranked third in trade with Iran among the 15 neighboring countries, which amounted to about $20 billion during the first four months of this year, which grew in value by 6% compared to last year, according to statistics and data issued by Iranian customs.
    The value of Iran's trade exchanges with 15 neighboring countries in the first four months of the current Iranian year amounted to 19 billion 820 million 547 thousand dollars, and in the 4 months of last year it amounted to 18 billion 687 million 29 thousand dollars, as this number shows a growth of 5% in terms of weight and 6% in terms of value.
    According to customs statistics, the largest volume of Iran's trade exchanges with neighboring countries in the first four months of this year were with the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, respectively.
    The Russian Federation, Oman, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were also in the next ranks of Iran's trade exchanges.
    In the first four months of this year, the value of Iran's trade with the United Arab Emirates amounted to 8 billion 64 million 513 thousand dollars, and in the 4 months of last year it amounted to 7 billion 658 million 517 thousand dollars, growing by 5%.
    Trade exchanges between Iran and Turkey decreased by 10% in the first four months of this year compared to last year.
    Iraq ranked third among neighboring countries in the field of trade exchanges with Iran, as the volume of trade exchanges between Iran and Iraq grew by 22% in terms of value and 19% in terms of weight.
    In the first 4 months of this year, the value of trade between Iran and Iraq amounted to 3 billion 772 million and 383 thousand dollars, and in the first 4 months of last year, the value of trade between the two countries was 3 billion 86 million and 933 thousand dollars.
    The value of Iran's trade with Pakistan in the first four months of this year amounted to $928 million and 185 thousand, growing by 13% in terms of value and 7% in terms of weight compared to the same period last year.
    The volume of trade exchange between Iran and Afghanistan in the first 4 months of this year amounted to 724 million and 75 thousand dollars, growing by 38% in terms of value and 31% in terms of weight compared to the same period last year.
    In the first four months of this year, Iran's trade with the Russian Federation amounted to $703 million and 172 thousand, and trade between Iran and Saudi Arabia amounted to $35 million and 477 thousand, growing by 39% compared to last year.
    Iran's trade in the first 4 months of the year amounted to 691 million and 738 thousand dollars, and with the Republic of Azerbaijan it amounted to 241 million and 606 thousand dollars.
    In the first four months of this year as well, our country's trade with the countries of the Republic of Azerbaijan grew by 38% in value, and with Turkmenistan by 4%.
