    [size=45]The Ishraqat Kanun bloc revealed, on Thursday evening, an unannounced session of the House of Representatives regarding the allocations of the council members, while the presidency of the council demanded that the circumstances of what happened in the session be revealed and all documents related to it be published to the public.[/size]
    [size=45]The bloc stated in a statement, “Yesterday, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, during the House of Representatives session No. 7 for the second legislative term of the third legislative year, a paragraph was added to the agenda to read instructions regarding the allocations of members of the House of Representatives and others based on Article 64 of the House of Representatives and its formations Law No. 13 of 2018 and to refer the financial details to an attached table that was not announced and was not read to the attendees.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, "The session was not announced regarding this paragraph, and paper copies of these instructions were not delivered to the council members and they were read only once, which did not allow for an opportunity to contemplate their contents."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that, “the representatives of the Ishraqat Kanun bloc and a group of council members did not vote to approve those instructions and objected to those procedures and requested the documents from the council presidency to review their content, but the council presidency refused to do so.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement pointed out that the members of the House of Representatives from the Ishraqat Kanun bloc, in their capacity as representatives of the Iraqi people, demand that the Presidency of the House of Representatives reveal the circumstances of what happened in the aforementioned session and publish all documents related to it to the public.[/size]
