    Information/Baghdad...
It was not strange for Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to come out with a position that strengthens the status of the American presence inside Iraq, contrary to popular and political demands for its exit from the country, after the major violations and attacks carried out by these forces on the security services, the latest of which was targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces in Jurf al-Nasr.
It seems that the Foreign Minister has sufficient information about the American presence in Iraq and the nature of this presence, through correcting the statement of the US State Department spokesman Vedant Patel, who confirmed the presence of his country's forces in Iraq, while Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein issued a statement to correct that statement, denying the presence of any American forces inside Iraq!! In addition to his confirmation of postponing the withdrawal of the so-called international coalition from Iraqi territory.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that "the official spokesman for the US State Department gave an inaccurate answer in response to a question from a journalist.
The statement added, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that there are no American forces in Iraq except for military advisors present under the umbrella of the international coalition, and these are included in the outcomes of the work of the Supreme Military Committee, and both parties are committed to the mechanisms followed and their outcomes."
He added, "The work of the Supreme Military Committee has focused during the past months on assessing the threat of the terrorist ISIS gangs, with the aim of reaching a date to end the military mission of Operation Inherent Resolve."
He pointed out that "the presence of international coalition advisers of all nationalities on Iraqi soil will be terminated, according to discussions that included the order of advisers' withdrawal from the sites, and all that remains is to agree on the details and date of the announcement and some other logistical aspects."
He explained that "the announcement of the end of the international coalition's military mission in Iraq has been postponed due to recent developments."
These positions of the ministry and its minister provoked the anger of the Iraqis, who directed their criticism at the work of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, accusing him of not being qualified for this position, and of putting the interests of his Kurdish nationality and his party affiliation before the interests of Iraq.
Today, Friday, Al-Fatah Alliance member Ali Hussein criticized Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein’s silence regarding the violations and attacks that Iraq is being subjected to by Turkey and American forces.
Hussein told Al-Maalouma, "The Minister of Foreign Affairs puts his affiliation to the region before his work in the ministry, as he is affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party."
He added, "The Foreign Minister did not make any statements regarding the threats facing Iraq, whether Turkish or American."
He added, "There is clear collusion by some parties regarding these violations that Iraq is being subjected to."
Political analyst Qasim Balshan said that Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein considers the American forces to be friends and deals with them with a nationalist spirit.
Balshan told Al-Maalouma, "Choosing Fouad Hussein for the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs is not successful, because he is not qualified to hold this position."
He considered that "Hussein's statements regarding the American forces that violate Iraq's sovereignty as friends are unacceptable, pointing out that the violations committed by these forces against the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security establishment confirm the American agenda against Iraq."
He pointed out that "America acknowledges the presence of its forces inside Iraq, and its ambassador in Baghdad, Alina Romanowski, stated this, indicating that "Fouad Hussein's statements confirm that he does not belong to Iraq as much as he belongs to a specific nationality."
He explained that "America provided the Peshmerga with weapons and supported them in Kurdistan." End 25
