Al-Husseini said in an interview with Sumaria News, "It is unfortunate that the statements of the Prime Minister's advisor are so deceptive, confusing and misleading to the Iraqi people."

He stressed, "We will destroy all the narratives that lie about this contract, which is a crime committed against the Iraqi people and public money."

Earlier, the Prime Minister's advisor, Fadi Al-Shammari, said in a televised statement that "the Prime Minister stopped the railway project months before it was announced in the media, and the file was referred for investigation months ago."
