The head of the Iraqi National Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, called on the House of Representatives today, Friday (September 13, 2024), to vote on the Programmers Syndicate Law.
Al-Hakim said in a statement received by Baghdad Today: “On World Programmers Day, we urge highlighting the role of this promising academic segment in developing modern technology and software solutions that contribute to improving people’s lives and enhance innovation in various fields.”
He stressed the "necessity of enriching the knowledge of students in Iraq regarding the world of programming and programmers, and keeping pace with global developments in the field of work for software developers."
He stressed that he "adds his voice to this group to urge the House of Representatives to vote on the Programmers Syndicate Law after completing the first and second readings of their upcoming draft law."
