[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Islamic Summit.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that "Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein arrived yesterday evening, Saturday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to participate in the ministerial meeting of the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic Summit."
It explained that "the minister began his visit by meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Muhammad Mustafa, and discussed with him ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in addition to reviewing the most important regional and international issues of common interest. Developments related to tensions in the Middle East region and exchanging views on the impact of the next US administration and the positions of the new President Trump on the political situation of countries in the region.
