    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Deputy Prime Minister, Salah al-Mutleg of the Iraqiya Slate criticized the arrest attempt planned for the leading figure within the IS, Rafa al-Issawi in Anbar on last Monday.
    Mutleg said on Tuesday “What is done by the security forces on last Monday when they tried to arrest Issawi does not demonstrate a real will to build the state and we will not be false witnesses in a political process targets its partners in such a way.”
    “This attempt indicates irresponsible behavior by the security forces which was about to ignite a great sedition without the intervention of the tribes’ sons who aborted the attempt,” he added.
    The resigned Finance Minister, Issawi has announced that he was subject to arrests attempt, on last Monday in Anbar, however the attempt was foiled by a number of the tribes’ sons.

    KR Presidency condemns attempted arrest of Issawi

    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Kurdistan Region Presidency stressed that “Involving the Iraqi Army in the political strife and the current political disputes would escalate the political crisis and incur serious consequences.
    The KR Presidency condemned in a statement “The arrest attempt against the resigned Finance Minister, Rafa al-Issawi, describing it as a creating for further tensions.”
    “We renew our rejection for the endeavors to engage the army in the political strife in Iraq,” the statement added.
    A security force backed by two helicopters attempted on last Monday to arrest Issawi in Anbar, however the attempt was aborted by a number of tribes’ sons.

    You know this kills me how in the Middle East they attempt or do arrest the other GOV members. Wonder what it would be like if the US did that... :?:
