Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Mahmoud Othman, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out “The Politicians did not preserve the achievements accomplished post 2003.”
Speaking to IraqiNews.com, he said “They did not manage to perform their duties,” noting that “It was supposed to establish a civil and democratic State of applied constitution with a kind of partnership in ruling the country, but this does not happen.”
“We find many disputes and problems at the current stage because there is no agreement among the leaders of the political blocs, the judiciary is not independent, the armed forces are not neutral and there is a political crisis in the country,” he went on.
“All these issues are important impediments for establishing a civil society,” he concluded.
