Central Bank Governor Ali al-allaq, Monday, the Bank's position of an auction to sell the currency, calling on banks to strictly abide by the instructions of the Central Bank.
Allaq said, in a statement/information/copy, "the Central Bank's position clear regarding the auction sale of the currency, we conducted interviews with finance and Economic Committee in the House of representatives and with other official contacts to clarify this issue.
"The cause of smear campaign and the charges faced by the banking sector, especially with regard to selling the currency window, is the absence of general banking culture on banks and the nature of the functions of the Central Bank, for selling the dollar."
