<p style="text-align: justify;">Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) -The spokesperson of the popular committees of Samarra protestors, Najeh al-Mizan, described the response of Samarra people to the general strike call as (great).Mizan stated to IraqiNews.com “The response of Samarra people to the general strike call was great since all kinds of life just stopped in the city when all the governmental institutions were closed as well as the schools, colleges, markets and all other institutions.””We are going on in using all the peaceful means until the Government responses to our legitimate demands, ” stressing that “The next step will be the civil disobedience and we are going to close all the productive directorates and pressurize the government to embarrass it in front of all people till our demands are considered,” he added.”Hundreds of people headed towards Midan Square in an unprecedented demonstration, challenging the security cordon. \END\
