Transportation Announces the activation of the channel for dry cargo containers

The company confirmed the railway under the Ministry of transportation, activate work in the Canal dry cargo and containers.
The Director of the railway company flags Abdul Sattar Al ghraoui said it informed the Agency of our economy, "the company has done work in the Canal dry cargo and containers, Transport Manager, operation called Kazem, confirmed the launch of work to activate channel for the transport of goods and containers of border crossings, particularly the southern port of Umm Qasr, which was directly related to the carriage of goods and containers imported from ports such as mark Al-shaljiya area in Baghdad.
"Kmerkh goods going into Baghdad," pointing out that "when goods were already at the port is port kmerktha, while by the Customs Directorate in Al-shaljiya".
He noted that this move was "for smooth transportation and facilitate the task of the carrier, through freight trains and shipped from the port, work continues on the dry Canal project, as the first two were transferred from the port of Umm Qasr to Baghdad, and stay on as mark Al-shaljiya by specialist railway trucks".
He said that such actions "ghraoui lead to absorb momentum in public roads and mitigate incidents when transport trucks", adding that the importance of this action lies "carriage of goods belonging to the Government and private sector which leads to support economic and industrial sector in Iraq."
