    Confirmed the Department of Agriculture in Dhi Qar province, on Monday, the migration of" a large number" of farmers with herds ofbuffalo out of the province over the past few months, while the main reason for the water shortage witnessed in the marsh for nearly four Ochehr.oukal Director of the Livestock Department in the Directorate Faraj Nahi, in an interview to the (long - Presse), " the transmission ofbreeders buffalo from one area to another is out of the question when exposed areas of water scarcity and drought , as happened in the marshes of Nasiriyah several months ago , " noting that "many of the breeders buffalo moved with their herds to the city of Samarra , in Salahuddin province, (170 km north of Baghdad), and other areas in the upper Tigris and Euphrates rivers to provide water in, "without specifying the number, the lack of accurate statistics. 
    He Nahi" media sources in Salahuddin province , confirmed the arrival of eight thousand head of buffalo of Dhi Qar and Missan because of water scarcity in the past months in the marshes , "noting that" the Dhi Qar includes more than 75 thousand head of buffalo now. " It is

    the Dhi Qar province , the administration announced, ( the first of June 2015), the marshes south ofNasiriyah, disaster areas, after the exposure of large areas , including the drought as a result of water shortages and low level of the Euphrates River. While the federal government and international organizations invited to put pressure on Turkey to release water in the rivers feeding the marsh areas, confirmed theregistration of about a thousand infected with chicken pox and the deaths of large amounts of fish and livestock.
