    The
    Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities restore more than 121 thousand
    pieces of archaeological before the National Museum during the past ten
    years.

    The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Brigade

    provide help and assistance to the Endowment to restore Christian
    churches and maintenance especially in Karbala. , Basra and Kirkuk,
    Baghdad, noting that the ministry will play a supervisory role on
    rehabilitation operations to maintain the depth of the archaeological
    these churches.

    other religions the importance of cooperation of the Ministry of
    Tourism with the Christian endowment to restore life to the churches and

    which is an attraction important visitor arrivals to the country ,

    noting
    that the ministry dealing with the fact tourism is also on the ground
    and not the level of ambition of developed and civilized process that
    are consistent with the formation of international companies.

    The
    Commission for Tourism and Antiquities in the House of Representatives
    has confirmed that it will develop a new strategy for the development of
    the reality of tourism in Iraq in cooperation with the Ministry of
    Tourism include enact laws governing the work of tourism and promote
    incident in Iraq, and the development of areas of archaeological current
    and show status of civilization that it deserves and increase the
    number of archaeological museums and expansion in exploration and
    maintenance and restoration in areas of new archaeological and
    historical list.
