[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The newly appointed Ambassador of Iraq to Manila, Ahmed al-Kamali presented copy of his credentials to the Philippine Foreign Minister, Alberto del Rosario.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported “Del Rosario wished the Ambassador all success in his new mission, expressing his pleasure over the positive development in the relations between both countries following the Iraqi-Philippine commission’s reciprocal meetings held in Baghdad in recent.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The Ambassador briefed the Minister on the political situation in Iraq and stressed the willingness to upgrade the relations between both countries in various fields,” according to the statement.[/ltr]
[ltr]“He also invited the Philippine companies to join the Iraqi market and transfer the Philippine expertise into Iraq,” the statement added.[/ltr]
