[ltr]Baghdad -The newly appointed Ambassador of Iraq, Ghazi Tahir, presented the copy of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported “The Iraqi Ambassador met with the Armenian FM where they discussed the bilateral relations between both countries and the efforts the Ambassador exerts to enhance the relations for benefit of broth countries.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The Minister of Armenia congratulated the Ambassador of Iraq on his appointment, expressing his satisfaction over the development of the relations during the last two years following the reopening of the Embassies in both capitals,” the statement added.[/ltr]
[ltr]“The two sides discussed the Syrian crisis and its ramifications on the region’s countries where the Ambassador explained Iraq’s attitude towards the crisis and its support for the peaceful solution,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
