Uruguay and Mexico announced the organization of an international conference on 7 February in Montevideo, bringing together countries and international organizations that are neutral in their view of the crisis in Venezuela.
"In view of their neutrality towards Venezuela, the Governments of Uruguay and Mexico will organize an international conference with representatives of States and international organizations that share this position," the statement said.
"Uruguay and Mexico, which did not recognize the opposition, Juan Guido, as acting president of Venezuela, are responding to the call by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to play the dialogue," he said.
"Uruguay and Mexico hope that more than 10 countries and international organizations will participate in the conference," he said. Ending / 25 z
