(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim described the Kuwaiti Amir's visit to Baghdad as "successful".
The minister said in his page on Twitter that "a successful visit to the Amir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah," revealing "important discussions with President Barham Salih and Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi; to develop economic relations, trade, transport and religious tourism and discuss the issues experienced by our region "He said.
Kuwait's emir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday.
The visit of Kuwait's Amir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to Iraq is the first time in seven years when he visited Baghdad to participate in the Arab summit in its 23rd
regular session in 2012. The visit of the Amir of Kuwait to Baghdad comes about one month after the first visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to Kuwait.
